Our little blob..

We had our 1st sonogram this morning and we are pregnant with 1!! My friend Kacey swore we had 2 cause she said some of my levels were higher. Since we did fertility and were on Clomid we had a much higher chance of twins. As much as I would have loved to have twins, I am MORE than happy with the one God has blessed me with!!

Of course Chadd the Dadd (ha!) went with me this morning and it was AMAZING!! It made everything sureal. We got to see a pic of the little bubba, or blob cause thats what it looks like, ha ha!! And we got to see the little heart beat. It is truly amazing the technology we have these days where we can see the heartbeat and the little baby this early on, as tiny as it is.

My friend Sheila gave me a pregnancy book which I read to Chadd every wk. Well, we just started this past wk. But Chadd finds the progress extremely interesting and couldnt believe what the little one looks like right now. It has a very odd shaped "head" and has a tail... so Chadd calls it our little Alien. I bought Chadd a "daddy pregnancy" book the other day and gave it to him last night. He cant wait to start reading it to know what to expect week by week. I'll post some pics of our little blob/alien as soon as I get them scanned in.

According to the sonogram, my due date has changed.. our little miracle will enter our family on (or around) December 16, 2009!!! I'll be 7 weeks tomorrow! WE CANT WAIT!!! Check out the very bottom of my blog for countdown tickers!!!



Here's the baby at 6 wks.. it will change quite a bit as of tomorrow, when I'll be 7 wks along. It has a tail which is starting to disappear and is kinda hard to see in this pic. And the bulge in the middle is the heart buldge. You can also see the eyes and arm buds, where the arms will form. That baby's eyes, ears, lips, tongue, mouth, brain, and cranial nerves are also forming. They change so much from week to week. Can you believe the baby is only 2-4mm long?!
