We're both engaged!! :o)

Steffanie got engaged on Sat 12/23. I'm so happy for her and can't wait to start planning together- bridal shows, trying on dresses, etc. It's gonna be so much fun!!

We're Engaged !!!

HE PROPOSED, SHE SAID YES!! 12/15/2006

So, here's how it happened!!!

Chadd talked to Melina (my boss) and asked if she would let me off early from work Friday (yesterday). Melina called and told me she was giving everyone 1/2 off to go shopping for c-mas (which, she did last year too). Chadd and I had lunch plans, so he picked me up from the ofc and said we had to go to Walmart to pick something up for the flight school... (said it was a far one 'cause noone here in the metroplex had it).

So, we're driving.. and driving.. and driving. I'm griping (ha, so me) 'cause I needed to get some shopping done and couldnt believe he was taking me to such a far walmart w/ him on my 1/2 day off.... haaaaa.

I think about 2 hours in, we finally saw a walmart so I pointed it out and he said, "oh, we're not going to that one".. Hhmmm.. so, then my mind starts wondering?!? "are we going skidiving for c-mas?? where the heck is he taking me?"

We drive into Houston and then Galveston. We are driving down the main beach strip and we see a dolphin statue we had taken pics by a few years back... he pulls over and we get out to walk on the beach. We're walking on the beach, walking along the rocks that go out into the ocean, and as we start walking back along the rocks.. he was walking behind me and took my hand and said "Baby, I have one question before we leave".. he got on one knee and said "Babygirl, will you marry me?" It was the most perfect moment in my life!!!

Everyone knows the beach is our favorite place to be.. so, he took me 5 hours away just so he could propose to me on the beach! Could not have wanted it any other way... We are SO excited and both cannot stop smiling.

Noah's Preschool Graduation ~ Frid 05/12/06

Our little guy (or should I say "big boy") is growing up so fast!!

Singing in his program, which was before the graduation. They got to choose to wear a white or yellow shirt and of course Noah chose his FAV color, Yellow!! He did sooo great and even had a little solo part of the finale song- it was so adorable!!

Getting his diploma!! Aunt Sarah had to hold back her tears.. but Mommy couldnt hold them in!

Off to Kindergarten I go ~ I'm a big boy now!!! :o)

Mayfest Sund 05/07/06

We had such a blast at Mayfest!! It was kinda hot but overall the weather was perfect!

This was their favorite- they were having a blast!! And of course our little dare devil Ashlyn kept trying to stand up and shake the cage. It was cute seeing them have so much fun together!

Noah got some ice cream and Ashlyn decided she wanted some too... so she hopped up on Noah's lap and they both started eating it.. it was the cutest thing ever. Of course shortly after this photo was taken, Ashlyn had to get her own. :o)

Easter Sunday 04/16/06

These are pics from us at my Grandma's house in Sherman, TX. It was really good to see her since we dont get to visit w/ her very often! We went to dinner and just enjoyed spending the day outdoors- the weather was awesome!

My Brag Book

I have a handsome little nephew (Noah) and a beautiful little neice (Ashlyn). I love these 2 little angels like they are my own. Aunt Sarah is so proud of them and loves to watch them grow. They are my world! I have the cutest nephew and neice around!

Noah is 5 years old and is going to start kindergarden in the fall. He plays soccer and is our little star. He is definately ALL boy and loves to play with bugs, his lizards, sports, and his best friend Sammie. He's growing up so fast!!

Ms. Ashlyn is our little pricess. She is 2 years old and loves playing dress up, clothes, shoes, and baby dolls. She is definately ALL girl! And, she is very smart for her age (turned 2 in March). She can already count to 11.. She will be starting "pre" preschool in the fall.
