Our Honeymoon!

We had the most amazing honeymoon! The reclusive resort we stayed at is beyond words.. It is called Ti Kaye and it is BEAUTIFUL! http://www.tikaye.com

The resort was very spread out and recluse from the rest of the towns. It was really like a town of its own. There was 1 restraunt where breakfast and dinner were served (5 star meals!) and then a beach bar where you could get lunch (which was very yummy too!). The food, the atmoshphere, the service, everything was just immaculate! The resort was set up on a cliff, cause St. Lucia is a volcanic island, so you had to walk down stairs to the beach.. but once you get there, the walk is all worth the wait! And I will add that the Pitan beers and rum punches were the best drinks EVER!

We had our own individual ocean front cottage that had a big poster bed w/ the bug netting around it, an outdoor shower, and a huge patio with a plunge pool! We were there for 7 days/6 nights and did so many fun things! We went on a couple tours to different towns of St. Lucia, went to the drive in volcano, zip-lining, water falls, and the snorkeling/kayaking in the cove of our resort was AMAZING!! The Best Day of our Lives!!!!

Thank you to all our family and friends who made our wedding day the most amazing and wonderul day of our lives!! It was truly the most beautiful wedding I have EVER seen and I owe that to everyone who put so much time and effort into making it so special for us!! Melissa, Tami, our parents, our wedding party, the list could go on and on! Thank you to everyone!! This day will be a lasting memory in our hearts forever!

First Plane Ride

After a long day of my bridal pictures at the Dallas Arboretum, Chadd surprised me for my birthday with my first plane ride in his plane (soon to be "our plane" hee hee). He flew us to a really small city, along with Raffi and another student, and we went SKYDIVING!!! It was the coolest thing I have ever done before! Most AMAZING experience!!! More pics to come in our funny skydiving gear :o)

Bridals Sneak Peak...

What a LONG day!! Still tired from the shower last night (hee hee), and definately not prepared for such a long drawn out day today! Got up and at Whitney's to get my hair done around 6AM! Wendi then came and got me all dolled up with my face lift (or makeup, ha ha!). Which I must say they both did such a fantastic job at transforming me into a bride :o) While we were at the salon, it started thunderstorming like crazy; pouring rain, gusty winds, and horrible thunder and lightening!! I was so upset!

It started out as a rainy, stormy day but ended out to be the perfect, most beautiful day for my bridal pictures. Here's a sneak peak at some bridals my sister took, while my photographers were getting them too :o) I think Sis did a GREAT job with these shots!!!

Our 1st couple's shower!

Erika and Nicole threw us such a beautiful and fun couple's shower on 06/02/07! It was at the event center of Bay Club in Arlington, right by lake Arlington. We had mexican food & margaritas - it was very yummy! We got so many wonderful things- we are so blessed with so many great friends!

We have a new nephew!

Cooper is a big brother!! Baby Hudson was born 01/23/07 and weighed in at 6lbs 11 oz & 19 inches long. Here are a few pics of new baby Hudson and his oh so proud big Brother (who will soon be turning the big 2!!)

Ski Trip 2007

We went on a ski trip Jan 3-7 '07 and had the BEST time! We rented a cabin in Angel Fire, NM & rented a 15 passenger bus so we could all ride together on the 12 hour road trip. We skiied, had snow ball fights, and celebrated Chadd (Happy 28th baby!) & Tracy's birthdays. Congrats to Gooch and Tracy who got engaged on top of the mountain!! They will be getting married in Hawaii March '08!

We're Engaged !!!

HE PROPOSED, SHE SAID YES!! 12/15/2006

So, here's how it happened!!!

Chadd talked to Melina (my boss) and asked if she would let me off early from work Friday (yesterday). Melina called and told me she was giving everyone 1/2 off to go shopping for c-mas (which, she did last year too). Chadd and I had lunch plans, so he picked me up from the ofc and said we had to go to Walmart to pick something up for the flight school... (said it was a far one 'cause noone here in the metroplex had it).

So, we're driving.. and driving.. and driving. I'm griping (ha, so me) 'cause I needed to get some shopping done and couldnt believe he was taking me to such a far walmart w/ him on my 1/2 day off.... haaaaa.

I think about 2 hours in, we finally saw a walmart so I pointed it out and he said, "oh, we're not going to that one".. Hhmmm.. so, then my mind starts wondering?!? "are we going skidiving for c-mas?? where the heck is he taking me?"

We drive into Houston and then Galveston. We are driving down the main beach strip and we see a dolphin statue we had taken pics by a few years back... he pulls over and we get out to walk on the beach. We're walking on the beach, walking along the rocks that go out into the ocean, and as we start walking back along the rocks.. he was walking behind me and took my hand and said "Baby, I have one question before we leave".. he got on one knee and said "Babygirl, will you marry me?" It was the most perfect moment in my life!!!

Everyone knows the beach is our favorite place to be.. so, he took me 5 hours away just so he could propose to me on the beach! Could not have wanted it any other way... We are SO excited and both cannot stop smiling.
