I'm still feeling GREAT other than one minor (HUGE) issue. I feel like my body is constantly filled with gas. And I'm not meaning that to be gross.. but you know when you get those gas pains, I have them starting mid-afternoon until I go to sleep at night. Its awful.. I lay down and hold my stomach and hope to fall asleep at 7pm cause I have felt so awful. Someone told me it could be heart burn or acid reflux though, which I've never experienced so that definately could be the case. I'm gonna try some tums or something like that and see if that helps. Thankfully I have the greatest husband in the world, who takes care of me and makes sure I'm still eating. Last night he drove and got me a chicken salad from CFA at 930pm cause I couldnt eat before then. He's wonderful!
For the 8 wks progress report on our little baby Alien. First of all, its about the size of a pinto bean, so its still so tiny (14-20mm long). "It" is starting to grow its little arms, with elbows now being present, and legs and will start growing fingers and toes this wk (awwww!). The eyelid folds and ears are starting to develop but the eyes are still very far apart. They will eventually center themselves out. The tip of the nose is also now present. Check out how our baby Alien looks now:
We go in for our 2nd sonogram this next Monday, where we'll be able to hear the heartbeat!! I cannot WAIT for this appt.. I cant wait to hear the little "swoosh swoosh" I've always dreamed of!! Keep on growing baby Alien.. your Mommy and Daddy cant wait to hold you, kiss you, and love you forever and ever!!

Congrats! I didn't start showing with my son (my first, and only) until around 23 weeks! I felt like I was missing out since I didn't really have a big baby bump, but don't worry...soon you'll have a big belly and be waddling around everywhere - LOL!
I had that painful gas too! mostly at night. Its normal...but def uncomfortable. Tums helped me! so hopefully it will give you some relief!
I second the tums information. Keep them in stock girl......lol! I ate them throughout the day because I had the WORST heartburn

OMG....I have never seen pictures like this before... I am so happy for you!!! Oh...and CHAD! Cute little alien:) So glad u found me on the blog....It is so wonderful to see two people so much in love. I am so happy for you. Oh and I need you to do some pictures for me....your pics are amazing and I have project for u:)
